Travel Insurance Requirements
All Afro Elevate travelers are required to have valid travel insurance. Proof of coverage must be submitted at least 30 days before your trip departure.
What Your Insurance Must Cover
✅ Medical Emergencies
– Doctor and hospital visits
– Emergency evacuation and repatriation
– Ambulance transport, including airlift if needed
✅ Trip Protection
– Trip cancellation and interruption
– Trip delays
– Lost, delayed, or stolen baggage
– Personal property protection
✅ Activity Coverage
Your policy must cover all activities listed in your Afro Elevate itinerary, such as boat rides, hiking, ATV tours, or cultural experiences.
Why Travel Insurance Is Mandatory
Trip cancellations can happen unexpectedly due to illness, flight delays, emergencies, or global events. Travel insurance may be the only way to recover your costs if you are unable to attend or if the trip is canceled for any reason, whether voluntarily or at Afro Elevate’s discretion.
Afro Elevate is not responsible for reimbursing costs related to trip cancellations, travel delays, lost luggage, or personal emergencies.
