Get ready for a vibrant 6-day Afro Elevate experience through Cartagena, one of Latin America’s most captivating destinations. You’ll visit historic landmarks, experience Afro-Colombian culture firsthand, enjoy a luxury beach club day, and unwind on a sunset cruise to close out the trip. ITINERARY
DAY 1: Arrival + Welcome Dinner
Arrive in Cartagena and check in at your 5-star hotel. In the evening, meet your travel group for a delicious welcome dinner at a local restaurant with live entertainment.

DAY 2: Cartagena City Tour
Kick off the morning with a guided city tour through Cartagena’s old town and Getsemaní district. Visit iconic landmarks and soak up the Afro-Colombian history and culture woven through the city.

DAY 3: Palenque Cultural Tour + Dance Class
Spend the day exploring San Basilio de Palenque — the first free African town in the Americas. Learn about its history, language, and traditions before returning to Cartagena for a lively salsa dance class.

DAY 4: Island Hopping + VIP Beach Club + Chiva Party Bus
Set sail on a private speedboat for an unforgettable island-hopping adventure. Relax at a VIP beach club, enjoy lunch with ocean views, and swim in turquoise Caribbean waters. In the evening, experience Cartagena’s nightlife aboard a traditional Chiva party bus filled with music, lights, and laughter.

Do I need a passport or visa?
A valid passport is required. U.S. citizens do not need a visa for stays under 90 days.
What is the arrival airport?
Rafael Núñez International Airport (CTG).
Is travel insurance required? Yes, travelers must purchase travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and travel delays. Proof is due 30 days before departure.

What payment methods are accepted?
Zelle is our preferred payment method! When checking out, select “Bank Deposit/Zelle”—no payment will be processed at that time. I’ll then send you an invoice with Zelle information to complete your payment.
If you choose PayPal, debit/credit card, or Shop Pay, a 6% processing fee will be applied.
