Yes, a valid passport is required. U.S. citizens need an e-visa for Brazil, which costs $81 USD and takes approximately 72 hours to process. We recommend applying 30-60 days before your travel date to allow sufficient time for processing and any potential delays. Tourist e-visas are generally valid for 90 days.

What is the arrival airport?

Rio de Janeiro–Galeão International Airport (GIG). Group airport transfers are included on arrival and departure days.

Is travel insurance required?

Yes, travelers must purchase travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and travel delays. Proof is due 30 days before departure.

What's the weather like in December? 

Warm and vibrant — typically mid-80s°F (29°C) with sunshine and beach-perfect weather.

What should I pack?

Light breathable clothing, swimwear, comfortable walking shoes, and something stylish for samba night and dinners.

What payment methods are accepted? 

All payments must be made through our secure checkout using debit card, credit card, or Shop Pay. A 10% processing fee is applied to all transactions at checkout. This fee covers payment processing and platform costs. All payments must be submitted 75 days before the trip (September 20, 2026) to maintain your reservation.
